BUSINESS ENRICHMENT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Together, the Optical Group and CooperVision are offering a three-year Scholarship to three (3) individuals accepted into Year One of the NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) Optical Sciences Eyeglasses Program for the Fall of 2022. These Scholarships will cover the four (4) semester Eyeglasses Program, the two (2) semester Contact Lens Program, and associated tuition fees and textbooks.

The Optical Group Award for Seneca Students
Each year two students from the Opticianry program who demonstrate financial need and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 will receive a $1,000 award. The Optical Group has made a five-year commitment to support students. In addition to the award, The Optical Group is a longstanding partner of Seneca and actively participates in the annual opticianry trade show.
Thanks to a new award for Seneca Opticianry students, more students will receive financial support to help them stay focused on their studies and complete their education in Seneca’s highly regarded Opticianry diploma program, the largest postsecondary program of its kind in Canada.
The Optical Group Awards for Douglas College Opticianry Students
The Optical Group has pledged a gift of $3000.00/year for a total of 5 years to the Douglas College Foundation. This annual gift will be split evenly between each of the three awards listed below.
The purpose is to provide financial support to Douglas College students enrolled in the Dispensing Opticianry Program.
- The Optical Group Achievement Award for Dispensing Opticianry.
- The Optical Group Bursary for Dispensing Opticianry.
- The Optical Group Graduation Award for Dispensing Opticianry.
